Well, I have been looking through insurance sites, and have found that it is pretty simple to sign up for your car and insurance, and easily pay online. I don’t think I’ll have a problem with insurance, but just in case. Anyways, my friend told me that two of his friends have registered cars that their parents don’t know about, and I might be able to as well. They did not use their friends over 18 to get it. Is this really possible for a minor to purchase a vehicle, and register it through DMV? Same goes for buying insurance. I have a bank account with a few grand, also got a debit card and paypal account for online purchases. Got my DMV license as well.

Please post sources if possible, this question is URGENT.

You must be 18…that’s the law.

You can have an adult co-sign, but it would remain the property of the adult only until you turned 18, at which point you would both own it.

haha…sure it’s easy to sign up for “anything” online, even with credit cards BUT, if you were to try and do the same thing in person, the sales person would look at you and ask how old you were and give you the news to come back once you turn 18.

Even RENTING a car, you must be 21:
    Age Requirements
    Minimum Age: 21
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and full coverage insurance.
Drivers under the age of 25 are subject to an underage fee.

So, be patient grasshopper…your time will come.

Unless you are 18 you cannot sign a contract.

As far as DMV is concerned, as long as you have a drivers license, you can have a car registered solely in your name. I have no knowledge of what car dealers or insurance companies might want. But for DMV, if you have a license, you can have the registration in your name.

    Good Luck!

    You should go to

    maillinkplus.com

and get a Las Vegas, NV address, and do all your stuff with that address.

it’s only ten dollars a month.

That way you can buy insurance, cars whatever you want and keep your business to yourself
