I am studying out of state and am going back home to California for a month and I need insurance to drive for one month…
What do I do? is there any insurance that I can get for one month?
I currently do not drive while in school so i don’t have insurance…

Don’t you have insurance now ? It will cover you in CA. If you don’t have now, you can possibly be added on to a friends or relatives policy – have to check with their ins. agent

Each state insurance commissioner sets the minimum policy period. Some states will go as short as three months at a time, but most require six months or twelve months.
But you can always cancel your policy when you want, pay the cancellation fee and short rate penalty, and get a refund on any overpayment.
