It depends on the car you have. If you have a brand new car that is fast or considered a sports car (+200 hp) and the car is brand new say $25k and you need full coverage you are looking at probably insurance costs of $200-$300 a month! If you get an older used car, you don’t owe anything on it, and its a regular reasonably safe car and you only get liability insurance(if you hit someone there damages are covered, your car would not be) you could be looking at $50-$90 a month. It really depends. Be careful when searching for quotes online. Most companies use credit scores now. If you are in a state that American Family Insurance is located (www.amfam.com) I would recommend them.

Check on line. Depends on STATE you live in.
Depends on the vehicle you drive. The older the vehicle the cheaper insurance rates are. Also depends on THE VEHICLE brand.
Men under age 25 pay higher rates because they tend to be speed racers.
AS do some girls but the LAW discriminates.
    A rough GUESStiMate would be between $70 – 110 a month
KEEP your driving record clean and it will go down.

Depends on meny things, Your previous driving record, Type of car, and other car info like ABS, airbags, and how much money you baroed on it. Age of car is a factor also.

Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even vary by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving record. SOme companies run credit scorees and MOST run a motor vehicel report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed accident involvement.

The best thing to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Don’t go across town, or to some other city – look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems, and give you rate comparisons of several different companies.

An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be networked with other local agents that can.

Most of the replies on this site say “go to this on-line carrier or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number” but I’m sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user with a script to work from and you won’t be able to talk with the same person every time you have a problem!

When do you turn 21? In most States, rates will drop a little when you turn 21 – sorta like a birthday present!

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps
