Now your insurance wont go up unless you get another traffic ticket in a short period of time. The insurance company will find out if you tell them, or you are renewing your policy. Truthfully, No your premium will not raise with your current carrier at all. You could have 3 tickets within the next 2 months and they will not know, UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT. At that time they will run a MVR (a motor vehicle report) At this time, they will reasess your driving record and credit score hence the policy premium raising due to the fact that your a risk. I have had clients that have had 4 tickets within the household since I wrote them 2 years ago. Yet, their first accident the whole truth came out. Hope I could help.
