My fiancee and I are thinking of buying a new car. (2 names on title) Both of us are covered under our parents’ insurance, and neither of us have owned a car before. How does insurance work here in terms of transferring to the new car? Do both of us need new insurance? Any other factors or considerations?

If the car will have both your name and and fiancees name then you both will have to take out a policy covering you both for that car. I assume that neither of your sets of parents names will be one the paperwork to buy the car so they are not responsible for it.
Your ages and driving records along with the year, make and model of the car you buy and where you live and driving habits will help an insurance agent determine your cost for a policy.

For auto insurance the fastest method to get a free quote is do a car policy comparison. Be sure to choose the same coverage levels, you can get an fast quote to compare against others. Use the same zipcode, car make and model, mileage and driving history to make sure you get an apples to apples comparison. To get fast auto quotes, go to http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-Insurance.html and you can compare all the major auto insurance companies.

From $25-$85 a month on the Car Insurance you need.
Okay, I have two cars (2003 Accord & a 1999 Bmw 323i). I have basic liability for both cars for my wife and I as drivers, plus $25,000 additional liability coverage on the cars.
We just paid $427 for an entire year for the same car insurance company we were already paying around $2,000 for before! How can you beat that? I have tried and I have looked through numerous car insurance companies, you have to find the right bargain. Find the best deals available on the entire internet. If you already have Allstate, Geico, AIG, Progressive, Mercury, Esurance, American Family, Nationwide or any other USA auto insurance, and you are paying too much, Go here:
