i renewed my car insurance in Apr as it was the easiest thing to do at the time. Since then i have recently discovered if i’d shopped around i could have saved myself £250! Can i change over now and get some of my money back even though i paid for a full years cover?
The car has not yet been in for repair, but I have told the insurance company I will accept a particular body shop I am not so fond of after I did some research.

I know this question might sound a bit dumb. My boyfriend is the primary driver of one of his parents cars, they insist he have full-coverage on the car but honestly the car is not worth the money. Would he be able to switch from full-coverage to liability only even though he is not considered the owner? Would an insurance company allow this? Its for the state of Maryland
