I was in a car accident, my car was hit from behind & now i need to claim for the damages from this guys insurance company. I have never been in a car accident before, his insurance company has asked me to forward a letter satting that i’m holding him reliable for the damages. I’m not sure how to write it. Can some one give me an example? would higly appreciate it

okay, if wondering. for example; My brother borrows my car, and wrecks it, and he is not listed as a driver in my car insurance, will my insaurance company(Statefarm) pay for the damages for my car?

I had an accident one month ago. Somebody hit the car behind me and got away, and pushed that car into my car. I have damages for $3600. Now the insurance company of the person who hit my car is not responsible for my damages. Is there anything I can do?
