I want to put my car’s insurance under a relative’s name and the Plate tags under my name?

I want it under a different name because I am young and Insurance costs a lot when you are young.
I am under my dad’s car insurance plan. He lives in NY and I recently moved to Florida. Can I remain in his plan? (It’s with Liberty Mutual) Or is there a company that does this?
P.S.: My car registration and NY inspection sticker are soon going to expire and I dont plan on going back to NY. So I will need to get a new car registration or maybe transfer my car into a Florida car.
So as part of the question, can I share my dad’s insurance even if I have get Florida plates and papers for my car? (and he lives and drives in NY in his car)
