I work for a beverage company in sales and sometimes when the soda gets old and expires, we’re required to transport the soda from the store back to our warehouse. I’ve never really thought much about it until I went to go update my vehicle insurance and the insurance sales rep inspected my car (I have TV’s and things of value installed in the car) and saw that I was transporting the soda. He told me that I need commercial insurance because my job requires this of me; he said that if I ever got into an accident during work and the police report stated that I was at work and had sodas/beverages in the back, if it was found I only had personal insurance (and not commercial) that the insurance would possibly choose not to cover me since I only had personal. I asked my employer if this was true but they said they have never heard of that…who is telling the truth? My employer won’t pay for commercial insurance but if I need it, I need it, but I believe that my work should pay for it…please help. Thank you so much.
whats your opinion, why car insurance is so high?. do you think the accidents on the road and up goes your insurance are young drivers, drunk drivers, junk cars on the road, or do you think its something else?i been driving since 1967 and i was in only 1 accident, so thats a pretty good record, i think, but iam going to town tomarrow, and i dont know whats going to happen before i get back home. anymore, iam always glad when iam back home, and off the road, but i guess your not even safe walking along the roads these days.thanks folks.
I need to tow my car for 30 miles. I don’t have triple A but I plan to get one to get it towed because I called my car insurance and they said it will probably cost $7 extra a month to get towing insurance. Anyway, my question is, if I get the classic triple A which has 4 calls of 7 miles each, can I call 4 times in one day and have it towed that way? Or is there a limitation to when the 4 calls are? It just says online that 4 calls of 7 miles each are allowed in a year… That will cover 28 miles and I will only have to pay $5 per mile that exceeds, so to cover the extra 2 miles, it will be $10 extra. The triple A plus membership is $30 more expensive than the classic…
My main question is this: Can I call for the towing 4 times in one day?
I don’t want to get triple a+, i want to get the classic.
