i might purchase a new car tommorrow and want to know best car insurance (i’m male mid 20′s never crashed). Also how easy can you do it over the phone (and what details do you need) as I wanna drive me new car home if i buy it!

It would be best to research consumer reviews for insurance companies as well as to get a few quotes online for different providers. The information you will need is your personal info (DOB, SSN & Driver’s License #). You will also need your vehicle’s information (VIN#), Know what kind of safety/alarm features are on the vehicle. You can get quotes with the vehicle year/make/model but the VIN# is more accurate. Ask the sales agent about discounts that are available for your state. Unfortunately, auto insurance is rated on more than just your driving record. It will be based on your insurance score (credit score, driving history & prior insurance), your address, your vehicle and your personal information. As a young male driver, you will be rated higher based on statistics of your peers. If the vehicle you are purchasing is going to be leased or financed, make sure you get a quote with comprehensive and collision coverage on the vehicle. I hope this helps.

It’s easier to get insurance quotes on the Internet. They’ll need detailed information about you and about your car. If you provide your SSN, they can give you an almost exact quote. Otherwise, it will be a “representive” quote than could change if you decide to buy. Here’s an article that explains more about it:
