What do most Americans chose when it comes down to Deductibles on car insurance, the normal standard $500 or less or more…what is it?

The standard is $500, many Americans go with $1,000, and just as many go with $250.

It varies by budget more than anything else. To truth is the higher the deducible, the lower the monthly premium. You can get several quotes and compare what the difference will be between several companies. It’s really the only way to make it work for you.
Remember, if you can’t afford it every month, it’s useless.

That can all vary with each individuals situation. This site allows you to quote from many different companies though.
